This was part of my Forest Essentials haul few months back. I have been using this regularly for four months and now is the time to review it for you.
About the product:
The next best to “fresh” is the “dehydrated” where everything in the herb remains intact, only the water content is removed. The finest quality herbs that are used in these powders are pure and unadulterated. Therefore, wherever practical, it is beneficial to use the dehydrated herb. When juices, milk, yogurt or rose water is added to these powdered herbs they are “hydrated” and the fullest benefits of these natural products in their entirely may be had. Perhaps not as fresh as nature intended, but closest to nature, the next best thing.
Suitable for all skin types.
Price: Rs.595/- for 100 grams
Claims:
Instant Radiance • Firming • Toning
Lavishes your skin with rich restorative moisture. The base of pure cow’s milk ‘ghee’ helps enhance intercellular adhesion instantly and provides extraordinary smoothness and suppleness to the skin. With regular massage the skin acquires a noticeably soft resilient and ‘plumped’ quality, and a radiant glow or “Tejas”.
Packaging:
It comes in this traditional dabbi with a golden screw cap. Very simple and sweet.
Key Ingredients:
Sundried Narangi peel Sundried lemon peel, sweet almond seed, Gotkula, Camphor, Marigold leaves, Anantmool, Nagkesar, Saffron ext.
Directions:
Take half teaspoon and mix with milk or rose water to make a creamy paste. Use to wash face. Rinse well.
My Experience:
When I mentioned that I have oily skin, the SA instantly handed this to me saying this is the best for oily skin. It is a multi purpose product which can be used as a face wash, a scrub or a pack. Well, I use it only as a pack, but while removing it, I just splash some water and scrub my face in a circular motion.
It has a lovely citrus fragrance that I absolutely love. It definitely brightens the skin, removing the dead cells and tan. Sometimes, I even apply the remaining on my feet and I have seen a great change in the colour of the skin.
Very little quantity is needed so 100 grams would last more than four months. The shelf life is 6 months only as it is a natural product.
Pros:
1.Brightens, tightens the skin
2.No allergies, irritation on my sensitive skin
3.Decent packaging
4.Excellent fragrance
Cons:
1.Expensive
2.Not easily available
My Rating:4/5
Final words: This is my first ubtan and am totally loving it.
