My experience using the
Intense Fuschia:
I had literally dreamt of this shade for days
together from the time I saw its swatch on a foreign makeup blog. This is such
a brilliant fuschia pink shade that I had not seen in any other brand till date
and so I needed it badly. Finally I got it during the running sale season
and here I am reviewing it for you all.
Packaging: The lipstick comes in the standard classic golden
packaging that is both sturdy and looks elegant.
Shade: It the most beautiful and the boldest fuschia pink.
You can call it a true bright magenta pink shade that would flatter the
Indian/Asian skin tone superbly. Pair it up with a light pink/coral blush and
simple kohl and mascara on the eyes.
Texture: The lipstick is highly pigmented just like its
name color riche. One swipe of it leaves the intense color behind even on
pigmented lips. It is moisturizing in nature and hence a lipbalm can be totally
avoided. It leaves a light sheen on the lips when applied so a lip gloss too is
not needed. There can be no problem of bleeding or feathering of the color.
Staying
power: As the shade is rich
and pigmented so is the staying power of the lipstick. A single light swipe of
it stays on easily for 4-5 hours with light meals in between too. When used as a
lip stain, it stays for 3 hours. And if used with its full effect on, then the
lipstick stays in place for 7-8 hours easily.

Final Verdict: It is
a sort of must have shade for all Indian beauties who love to wear bright
shades generally. If you are looking for an occasional wear pink lipstick then
just go and grab this one. It is the best fuschia pink you can get.
The shade is absolutely gorgeous and I've lemmed for it ever since I spotted it on an Indigo Air hostess. But L'oreal lippies specially the brighter shades have insane amount of lead in them which is a neurotoxin, I hv not picked it up coz of high lead content and I'm still looking fOr a dupe of this shade..
