NYX Extreme Lip Cream-Pinky Nude Review & Swatches

Hey girls, its NYX this time. I got this shade few days back and have been wearing it each day since then as I am loving mauves these days and this is just prefect shade for me.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Beautify your lips with this velvety rich lip cream that provides extreme pigmentation with a silky and glossy finish. This lip cream is a hybrid of lipstick, lip gloss, and lip stain with intense pigmentation all in one. Complete your head-turning look with the Xtreme Lip Cream in any of the 11 luscious colors.

PACKAGING: The packaging is definitely better and has a more classy feel than the former lip cream that NYX has. Although,it resembles the packaging in terms of a black cap and same shade body but it is sleek as compared to the former.
SHADE: The shade can be best described as a mauve-pink with blue undertones. Its a gorgeous shade that will be flattering on various skin tones but I feel that it will come out differently on different skin tones.I t doesn’t have any shimmer.

TEXTURE, FINISH & STAYING POWER: The texture is buttery  smooth and soft. The shade is highly pigmented and one coat provides full coverage to the lips. It is good for those having pigmented lips.
The formula is much better than the previous ones as they were a bit drying on lips and needed a lip balm underneath otherwise ,lip lines used to show up but with this extreme lip cream, I don’t feel the need to apply a lip balm underneath. It remains glossy throughout and feels smooth and not at all drying. It doesn’t settle in the lip lines but dry flakey skin is visible so one should always exfoliate the lips prior its application.
It comfortably stays for about 5- 5 ½ hours on lips after which it leaves a slight baby pink tint that looks very beautiful too.  One problem with this is that it transfers to the glasses and mugs in the initial hours of application that I don’t like but after that it settles.
NYX extreme lip cream has a faint chemical fragrance that goes away after few seconds of application.

~I will suit many skin tones.
~stays for about 5-6 hours leaving a tint behind.
~It is soft and hydrating.
~doesn’t settle in the lip lines.
~good for pigmented lips.
CONS:
~it does show the dry flaky lips.
~transfers to other objects.
~not easily available.

RECOMMENDATION:I would dfinitely recommend trying this range as it is way much better than the earlier one plus you get  a lipgloss,lipstick and lip stain in one!
